About Me

So, I see you've made it to the page where I explain who I am and why I blog, and now I have to actually go and do that.

Well, I best start typing then.

My name is Chris, and I'm a teen from the North East of England. I was diagnosed with mild Asperger's Syndrome when I was in early primary school (around Grade 2 for you Americans out there), and I've been slowly learning more about myself and finding coping strategies ever since then. For the most part, it's going quite well, but I still have trouble every now and then. Sometimes quite big trouble actually, but that's for a blog post. Even though I may not always seem like it, I'm extremely grateful for the support my friends and family give me, and without them I'd probably be nowhere near where I am now.

I'm currently studying A-Levels in college, and plan on going to university to do Computer Science next year (I know I know, very stereotypical of me). I also enjoy drawing, reading, scifi TV series, and generally anything that lets me escape into a fantasy world for a while. I do tend to blab a bit if I'm left to just talk or type, so if my blogs seem to never end, drop me a comment. Speaking of which, I should probably move to the next section now.

I intend to use this blog as an outlet for all my thoughts on growing up with Asperger's, along with various other topics of interest and answering any questions anyone has.  I enjoy helping people, so don't be afraid to ask.

Anyway, tis enough about me for a while. I hope you enjoy reading my blogs, and come back for more soon.

Chris
